NAYBA has developed a tool to measure and report the collective social impact of the faith community in their city or region – we call it the NAYBA Impact Audit.

NAYBA Australia recently conducted an audit of the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, and the results show that that the faith community has a huge heart for the City and its people – as evidenced by the number of services that seek to address current social challenges, as well as the ongoing commitment to key groups in the community.

The final audit report includes the following statistics:

• Over $43 million in social impact value to the City of Gold Coast in the past year alone
• More than 350,000 people in need served in the last 12 months – equivalent to 57% of the total population
• 206 community services being delivered by faith groups, addressing 13 of the greatest social needs in the region
