Foodbank is a way for local churches to work together to reduce food poverty and strengthen communities.

  • Lead volunteer who can co-ordinate local churches and volunteers
  • Contents and packaging for food parcels
  • Volunteer team for packing and delivery
METHOD
  1. Develop a network of local churches in the community committed to working together
  2. Identify households struggling with food poverty
  3. Ask churches and community to donate required food items and packaging
  4. Pack and deliver monthly food parcels according to household need
  5. Build and strengthen relationships across Churches and the community through meeting practical needs
